Electra-Locks through our partners can supply a large range of automated door entrance controls, both fully automatic and power assisted.
With the new DDA (Disability Discrimination Act)* automated entrance control has become increasingly popular. We have seen an increase in demand for automated entrance control in a wide range of situations including shops, hospitals, schools, nursing and residential homes.
The type of automation available is varied from sliding to bi-folding and swing type doors. Having an automated entrance does not always mean a new door either, with the new powered door, and power assisted generation of door closers it is often possible and very cost effective to have the operator installed onto the existing entrance.
We are also able to integrate any of our automated products with all Access Control, Intercom and Door Entry Systems.
Our Automatic door range today includes:
|Auto door||Bipart doors|
|Swing doors||Fold doors|
|Revolving doors||Manual doors|
|Shutter Fire Doors||Door Operators|
Ensure doors continue to work safely and effectively with a maintenance contract. The frequency of visits will depend on the use of the door. We will be happy to visit your premises to assess and discuss your requirements.
Whatever the situation, Electra-Locks will be able to provide a quotation with no obligation or fees.
*The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) came into force on 2nd December 1996. The DDA makes it unlawful to discriminate against disabled people in:
Recruitment and employment
Access to goods, facilities and services
The management, buying and renting of land or property
The DDA introduced new measures aimed at ending the discrimination which many disabled people face in these areas. If you provide a service to the public, the public needs to access your premises, or if you have 15 or more staff you have duties under the DDA. Ask us for more information.
